Gem of a bowler

Mcdermott wont make it
He is pop gun pace, and when he gets on flat decks he will be too friendly to batters

Walter
Done nothin wrong, dunno, could be ok

Cutting
Something about him, but too predictable as he wants to bowl a bouncer just about every over

You seem to constantly overlook the fact that he is only 18, not many bowlers have reched their top speed at 18. He can get it to about 127k's, not too bad. When he's about 22, stronger and more hardened, he should be up to 135. Stuart Clark made a very good career from that pace.

They only pick 12 for each International game, and perhaps 1-2 spares
Thats leaves enough available players for the Blueys to pick from
Look at yesterdays game, KHAWAJA and THORNLEY couldnt get a gig
BRACKS,CAMO were injured and could have played

TA V VI
TA 7/300
LOCKYEAR 111[98]
BAILEY 63 [101]
BIRT 66[54]
HARWOOD 3/68

LOCKYEAR
b4 this innings
5 innings
36 runs
ave 7-20
strike rate 57-14
Today he played perhaps what might be the best f/cup innings this season
Played brilliantly in the 20/20 comp last year where he has a s/rate of 164
Very very talented and beautiful hitter
20/20 International cricketer, why not
50 over cricket, needs more big innings like today

BIRT
Is anybody taking note another Mally International bound longshot is on track
Another brilliant innings including 2 massive zacs of Harwood
Strikes at 88 in the Franger Cup
Strikes at 139 in 20/20 cricket
International class cricketer and for those who have somehow not noticed his big hitting
He has a similar build and hitting power of Rodney Marsh

As for the game, once again TA have batted well v VI
300 is plenty
ROGERS/QUINNEY/HODGE/HUSSEY is a strong top 4 , but theres little after

NostraREB !!!!!!

VI
After being 5/149[29.1]
Win with 4 balls to spare
6/301
The stars were
FINCH 87* [87] at last Ive seen him in full flight
And the man who batted brilliantly to end the battle was HASTINGS

HASTINGS 41*[28]
Ive waited to see how good he was, tonight I finally saw it
The way he drives the ball reminds me of Kev Pieterson

That was an astonishing effort by the Vics
Without
WHITE
MCDONALD
MCKAY
NANNES
