I personally know those blokes who are making the move to Elizabeth... and they are definitely not receiving any financial, or other type of reimbursement. It is clearly a chance for them to change footy environments, and try to experience the exhiliration of finals footy that has escaped them for so long at South Gawler. The fact that the big walrus Halliday, Rogers and Watts (all ex south boys) and coach gallarello (ex South Gawler) are all back in the fold made the choice even more enticing. I wish those blokes success in 2010.

Hello, interested poster here looking forward to next season.

Just looking at the poll results so far... not much support for for Lutherans for the flag. Is it just people being parochial (ie voting for their own club) or does no-one rate them? Or are they losing players? They generally go alright in Divvy 5.

plympton will be around the mark. very much a case of 'unfinished business' for the red dogs.

LM's on the money i reckon. the poll should probably be "who do you think will win the flag presuming that your club won't".

smithfield is my smokey for 2010.

Last season's poll was probably a more accurate one, you had to select the teams to make the GF, that way you picked your club and another.

All in good humour... Plympton will be up there again this year.

I agree Smithies will climb the ladder, things sound like they are falling into place at Anderson Walk.

A lot of talk about Elizabeth on here... be interesting to see who lines up for them Round 1 2010.

We'll just take one step at a time, things aren't falling into place, blokes like bondy and the two Steves are putting things into place, positivity is infectous and these 3 along with panthergurl are giving our supporters something to be excited about.

Yeah Right .... Money coming from new club Sponsor ... D Herzick

Enticing his mates with money (all under the counter of course so that the locals dont feel left out) to stick it up South's. And my prediction will be that he is gunning for the Elizabeth coaching job down the track seeing that South's gave him the flick and Salisbury wouldnt even give him an interview regardless of the $$$ he was going to put into the club. Matty G should start watching his back.

Also Hezick has lost 9 kilos to date ... wants to loose another 21 kilos so that he can pull on the boots to play at Elizabeth in 2010.

They were happy to pay to get themselves out south gawler because its a club full of tossers who think they can play footy but are soft as shite and sook when things don't go the way their way. The eagles will be a refeshing change to the tripe they've had to withstand over their careers with south.

Well done to the eagles , these lads you've picked up will chop up div 5 if they're half fit.

Also worth noting that Lee Makris is a former Elizabeth junior.

The lads that have left to Elizabeth have gone there to play together as close mates and they are also mates with coach. I can guarantee everyone that absolutely no money is involved. Some people still play footy for pure enjoyment not financial benefit.

So Hawks22, try and dig up another rumour from somewhere to cause some trouble...
