How good was it to see Mundine chased out of Perth?
I was in stiches laughing when i saw the footage on sports tonight.
He got the respect he deserved. Bring on Green V Mundine.

I disagree, yanks would love Mundine (well the black yanks would anyway), its because we're Australian we prefer the quieter achiever in Green.

You could be on to something there Wedgie. I haven't seen or heard this Mundine fella for myself, but from what people have written he sounds a lot like Muhammad Ali. Ie, boxer, coloured, big mouth and a Muslim.
Only thing is though, that Australians love Muhammad Ali as much as the Seppos do.
I wish I knew more about this Mundine, he sounds interesting.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Mundine being black or a muslim has nothing to do with why people despise him.
The fact he's a big headed loud mouthed twat which traditiionally Australians have no time for is why he's hated.

I personally don't have a huge issue with him as at least he's a character, watching him and Warwick Capper have a conversation on Celebrity Big Brother a couple of years back was one of the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, I've seen more intelligence in the Port Adelaide cheer squad!

I hope Danny Green snots him though, Green's a quiet bloke who relies on his fists to do his talking, he made no fuss about whether his fight was the main event or not 2 weeks back where Mundine was carrying on like peanut.

Go the Green Machine!

Americans wanted Mundine's blood after his ill-advised comments about September 11 (they certainly raised his profile in the US though.)

But Green is as much of a bore himself.

At least Mundine has won a world title.

Close, Jimmy. I have been in Japan for almost five years now.
Thanks for the details fellas. I don't think I will get to see any of the fight, not until I get a dish or a cable or something.
