A great cabaret act, so I've heard.
They do all the footy hype songs (Show No Mercy, All Fired Up, Up There Cazaly, The Grease Megamix, Achy Breaky Heart).

I spoke to her recently. She has a voice you could fall in love with.

There is nothing wrong with being patriotic & proud of our country. It doesn't have to be sung live, recorded would do. The roar from the crowd after the anthem is finished creates a great atmosphere at the game too.
I'm the opposite. I'm sick to death of hearing it before every AFL finals game. It's trotted out at the drop of a hat these days, a trait I think we've picked up from American culture.

Interesting to see the 'new' NBL is trying to unAmericanise the comp and take it back to its Aussie roots of the 70s and 80s by playing less music, making games shorter (changing to worldwide rules as opposed to the NBA) and NOT playing the national anthem before every game.

I think it was a young SA girl last year for Central v Glenelg, Grace Bawden...
I certainly remmber Ricky Lee Coulter, who sung it in '07 before Central v North...
I also remember another performance by another Adelaide lass, I think it was that Amity Dry from one of those reality shows.
And finally, I remember Adelaide girl and former "Bardot" member Sally Polihronas in recent years but not sure of any more !!

I think a SAFooty choir should do the national anthem.
Failing that what about Tim Ginevar, or completely save on costs and get the Gowans twins to sing it.

Margaret Urlich in 93. Greg Champion in 94 or 95.
edit: Gyan sang one year in the 90s too. That beautiful blonde girl(forget her name) in 84 obviously.
