was this game played on hard wicket?

Who performed well for NH?

Everyone really, every bowler got a wicket or 2, top score was 40 odd. I hacked 30 odd.

Whats the answer? We have tried reduced fees, BBQs and beers at the end, a ticket in a raffle each day you deliver for new equipment. Its all too hard for the majority!

No idea Bazza. If u find the answer please do tell. We have a smaller club than yours aswell, but a bigger area i think, so it is probably even harder.
At present we get $30 off fee's for doing 2 days of phonebooks. THe thing is, you get committee members, who think its alrite to only do 2 days, when they are on the committee to do extrra work for the club, and then they dont. 2 days and its enough they think. So if you cant get the committee members well who can you get really?

I think we have looked at other options such as a BBQ and drinks for people that do it.

The facts are that if we dont do these phonebooks our subs would double, if not triple every year. It brings in so much $$ to our club and people complain when they gotta do a couple days work, with committee members not willing to do an extra day or even a couple of hours.

Bazza, on page 18 where the program u posted is, have a look at the Section 6 draw, and in particular the last two games for WYC.
We noticed it last week. Its good to see the association check the draws before they release them

RE: the phonebooks Bazza, without Booney's help, who is in retirement due to family committments on saturdays, and other people who dont even play, we would not get close at all to doing these phonebooks.

Exactly what me and Bloods said. Bloods has been in contact with the association, but im not sure if they will change anything. Books already at the printer, would affect other games, grounds and the likes

We try to have a full crew, so a driver and 4 people, so its 2 people either side. If we had 4 crews on two days on the weekend, we would knock it all off i think, not including the business' on weekdays. That stuff could then be done by the older members, the retirees that want to help, and uni students on there day off.
Sounds good in principle but it just doesnt happen..

Phil Davis dont get me started on that bloke. Wat a spanner
