i think with promotion, you would hope to bring a few more people to the club. we recruited pretty well this yr (which was kept pretty quiet on this forum) and hopefully we can get a couple of more players next season. in the gf team, we had 7 new players and then also paul wooton, diesal and steed verall who didnt play.

It was more of a case of them choosing to play for us rather than us actively recruiting them. They all had a connection with people/players at the club or had played for the club previously.

Poor Bear :(

He's fragile... let him be :(

On the upside - I did score a lot of bearhugs on Saturday due to his sadness ;)

'03 was a good year ;)

Don't worry mate. When you do win one it'll be so sweet knowing how bad the losses hurt...

Because you were considered certainties by everyone ?? Or because you thought you had a better chance than you did against us in 03 ?
Sorry mate, I'm not trying to rub it in, just asking..

Well said mate, I bet you're spewing internally! So am I, I've got 100 tees not printed. Not like a few years ago when a certain club was so confident they had their tees done BEFORE the game.
And what do you reckon happened? You got it, they lost their only game for the year in the GF
If you see anyone out crabbing in new white/maroon tees   , that'd be one of them!!

i believe in the footy gods to..go back to 2007 prelim final power v kangaroos..remember warren bowing to the crowd..and chad doing his gay little jig after kicking a goal..look whats happened to them since, total wipe out, injuries, crap form, players leaving, coaches leaving, no harmony in the playing group and basically bankrupted..isnt it great? LOL..never ever mess with the footy gods..the power is sunk
