I heard a rumour Roger James might be coaching Barossa next year...any truth?

Also, Stelzers not necessarily signed on yet. Another club in a league quite a bit further away is showing some interest.

Roger was signed a few weeks ago DW. Playing his last game for Kersbrook this Saturday in the GF against TV. Might suggest it's his last game ever and definitely his last playing with his 2 brothers.

Dropped into the Vine Inn on Saturday night to slot a few bucks through the pokies with my K-Rudd bonus.
Whist there I managed listen in on the Nuri Cubs after match presentations.
Pretty sombre mood after a straight sets loss for the club. 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
Later I bumped into some of the boys headed by Gibbo at the Angaston Hotel.
Word around town was they were up in the hills looking for Coach Hadden's note pad on how to win in September.

Great game yesterday. Who did you think were your better players yesterday. I thought Kaesler was terrific both forward and back, also Craig Underwood was good in patches.

No arguement from me there, also thought that Tommy Schiller was also fantastic. Good luck to the sides playing this week, Ango for me.

I am with you on that Swooper, Tommy Schiller played a great game. I don't think Nuri or Ango have anyone that will stop him.
If I see it I say it.

It is true Dogwatcher, James is coaching Barossa. I belevie the Stelzer boy have signed but if a team that is after them it would be Gawler Central. From what I have heared they trained with them all season and the club has put the offer out to get them to sign. Time will tell.

Big question is:

Can Alex "the great" Kennedy kick his 100th in the GF...

Two seasons in a row is quite an achievement!

i think you may find two of those three juniour's are in the side regularly; and the other was called up as a key player was forced to pull out with centrals commitments!!
i think you may find that two of them will not be dropped down, they are definately better than the two juniors from angaston of adams and falland. Adams is possibly the worst A grade player going around in the competetion and wouldnt get a game in any other side in the competetion!!
how do u say staffs got his work cut out for him this week underdogs?

Yes thats right KartHorse and arent we loving it!!! I cant wait to see Nuriootpa and Tanunda slug it out this week ready for our fresh legs the following week...

Hird today Nat Salter rumor is that he should tell Nuri very soon that he will take the role of player coach at the bombers as he is not currently happy where he is, the only reason it has been kept quiet is whilst they are playing finals sh** could hit the fan.
But all should be revealed next week allegedly

Sounds as though the Nuri ship may start sinking with these goings on.
Salter's services should be severed immediately, due to a confict of interest.
Did hear today that he has also been asking a few Tiger mates to jump into a bomber for 2010.

haha think you may find this is the biggest load of shit youll ever hear on this site!! salter will not leave nuriootpa

Wouldn't think it was too smart to give guys ammunition leading into a final,
Falland will be an A-grade player for many years if his grandpa body can hold up,
He is strong for a little bloke and has kicked important goals in 3 of the last 4 games.
To do so in a forward line that has lacked a tall focal target is even more impressive.
Adams has progressed a mile this year, I would have said he was not gonna be a regular fixture
in an A-grade side, until he got his chance and has proved otherwise.
Not too many 17-18 year old ruckman take the competition by storm in their 1st season,
but Angus has improved a heap this year, which is why he continues to hold his spot under the competition of finals selection.
They can both be assured they have the respect and confidence of their team-mates,
which would mean a lot more than an outsiders uninformed opinion.
Bring on this Saturday.........................

i would say staff has his work cut for him, seeing as his team has not beaten angaston yet this season. he'll have to think of something different as the last two times the sides have met, they havnt worked!!

agreed PH, but L Howard to be amongst top 3 instead of tregenza. even though tregenza has had a good year dont think the umpires will notice him and will possibly poll less than 10 votes
