Its great news for the club in 2010 , will be very hard to shift Craig Dawe from the top spot if he can take the club to the top of the tree this year.

I have also heard Kapunda has approached John Platten for 2010.

Gaining the services of one of the brothers would be very wishful thinking Pac-Man.
Although, these boys would atleast bring a winning September culture to your club.
As for Kapunda, Platten is a living example of someone who could play, but couldn't coach.
I would think they may be looking for someone closer to home to coach, since they have spat out two coaches in as many seasons.

Haven't heard anything about Platten but there is a whisper around the club about Buckets McKenzie returning as a player coach.

Mackenzie wont be at Kapunda next year. Sorry to disappoint those who got excited!

Angaston - Hadden, has a mortgage on the job from committe. Natural progression from 2008. 100% Would want to win a final with the cash being splurged. 75/25%
Central - Team on par with 2008, was the change of coach benificial. Hear that Slade may come back to coach in 2010. 60/40%I think you might be right here osama as much as i dont like to admit it, but unless wacka can get the boys to a grand final i think the year will be considered a failure
Willaston - Seelander, signed. Would want to take the side another step after no progression in 2009. Had a good look at what he needs for a tilt in 2010 .I think willaston have progressed this year, 7th -5th with what many said was a weaker side with no mcleans and coghill

Where do people ever get these STUPID ideas that clubs like Eudunda are cashed up, after they have years on the bottom of the ladder with CHEAP coaches and CHEAP players. Seriously, they are NOT CASHED up! Idiot!

On a more serious note, I would be interested to see some thoughts on your clubs 2009 B&F's. Whilst many other players receive the accolades, some others do the unnoticed tasks that don't get the recognition from outside of the club, such as madia and umpires.

Angaston - (3-1) Brandon Kurtz, part of the infamous 'Back 6' has had an excellent season with the panther outfit. He has relished his free running game across half back under coach Hadden, "The Body" has managed to stay fit and on the track. If he doesn't win it this year and you havent heard of the name Joe Bordonaro, you will next year.

Managed to catch a couple of minutes of the Triple B footy show on Saturday morning.
I was driving along listening to the radio when Shooby set the air bags off in the Mercedes, he cracked a fat at the sound of the voice Dr Love.
The one and only voice of Rian 'Sponge' Nelson.
Yes, and every one was safe and well after the incident.

thought angos performance on the weekend was very workmanlike and just the hit out needed approaching finals, they arnt as flashy as nuri and central and when the pressure goes on in finals those 2 sides will struggle IMO. it appears that the plan put in place in 07/08 is paying dividends. was a masterstroke to hire a budget rent-a-coach for 2 years while waiting for the young kids to get strong enough to compete at a grade level and also were able to save every penny in those 2 years to have a crack at it this year. tanunda-angaston grand final for me

Daysof, have always said you know this great game of ours and you haven't let me down,
My extremely un-biased opinion is the very same.
Beware the Panther........
Tell you what, that Osama bloke knows his stuff too, Reckon Ango's B&F comes down to this Saturday though,
If Dawes hadn't missed 3 or 4 he wins it easy. Great recruit, good lad too.

I think that Brandon 'Man of Steel' Kurtz would be a raging favourite to take home the crown at pantherland.
What a fairy tale it would be after severely breaking a leg in 2004 and then nearly following the bride to Nuri.
Good point Osmam, might want to keep the votes under lock and key. :D

I see a few new users, hopefully there is no double entry happening!!!

The 'Man of Iron', Craig Harvey has returned in very nice fashion,
despite fracturing his jaw he comes back and still hits it as hard as ever.
Has been a dynamic duo with Dawes, with both prepared to hunt the hard ball,
which becomes even more valuable when the footy gets hot in 2 weeks time.
Hoping he can inspire young 'Shitfer' Bain to come back soon in similar fashion.

I could tell you a funny story about why he got the name Shifter Bain.
Although, probably not good for this forum, but it involves Daisy.
I'll leave it at that. :D

Duke- I have no doubt with well thought out names like Forward and Football that someone has entered the forum with both barrels blazing. I wouldnt expect the boy to post after fat cat goes to bed.

Daisy- You have got to be kidding, wackas boys will chew Ango up and spit them out before 1/4 time. Ango will be no match for the skill and speed of the likes of King, Hill, Jenner, molineaux etc etc
By the way Howard will win out B&F with daylight 2nd and will also win the schluter over Dawes and Greenwood

I think without a doubt the best 2 umpires are Murch and Carl Whittaker, but i have a feeling the umpires boss thinks the best 2 are Herrmann and Colbourne

I think we should play without the maggots.
If we need them, maybe go for a couple of the elder statesmen in Whitikar Senior and Murchey.
Maybe even Polito for the youth policy.

Gah, Whitaker Sr and Murchey are ruled out of finals with injuries...
Polito for the youth policy is a good call ;)

If thats the case, Polito to umpire by himself, no one else is up to it but would be funny if Herrmann umpires staffords 2 finals.
