If you get there nice and early Thiele, which I assume you will be with your role at Westies, you should have no problem finding a off street park down one of the side streets behind Prospect Oval. There would be some, if you are there early like I say, no more than a 400 - 500 metre walk from the oval itself.

Going park the next street dow from prospect. HAd alook on Google Earth tonight. But i will go for a drive tomorrow and have a look

I hope the coaches and players are doing as much research about this week's game as you Thiele.

I don't find Prospect that hard to park plenty of side streets. I reckon it is worse to find a park at the Parade that is a nightmare especially on a Friday night.

I find Norwood easy, no matter if I get there late on a Friday night I always get the same park one block away, but it is a secret.
With Prospect if you remember there's a walk way on the souhern side that takes you straight through to the ground its easy enough or park in the Hollands next to the park for a fee.
I only struggle when getting to Unley late but would put that down to inexperience as Ive been there the least since being of driving age.
My fav ovals in order for parking are Prospect, Woodville then Elizabeth.

Might need your goggles and flippers, Prospect not in good shape at all at the minute, training has been moved away to try and give the ground some chance of recovery, hate to think what it will be like in 8 weeks with all the footy about to be played on it, another great scheduling programme by the SANFL

I dropped into Prospect Oval on Monday to have a quick look at the Under 15's & 17's SANFL Youth championships and the oval was in shocking condition, especially the centre square area where the cricket pitch is. Was under 4 inches of water and mud everywhere. Hopefully with a bit of sunshine today, it will help dry them up in time for Saturday.

Bit of water and mud is what winter footy's all about isn't? :D

I agree on the scheduling, North's draw this year seems crazy (or to have come via a dictator who has it in for them :-k ;) ) on a couple of fronts.

North play well in the wet and heavy conditions, think Westies would prefer it dry

We've been unchanged on paper before (well with no outs anyway) but not sure if that's translated onto gameday.
In that aspect is not a new occurance.

no dramas. i just couldnt remember it happening.

should help to finally start getting the side more settled now the "real" season has begun. no more stop\start stuff.

not too sure if the whole interrupted start to the season with what seemed like a bye every 3 or 4 weeks contributed to the up and down form, or if we are just doing that ourselves. should start finding out the answer to that soon though, maybe tomorrow?

Not confident about this weekend because of our form and westies, but hoping for a comfortable win. if we can kick straight we should do alright, too many times already this year we have let our bad kicking drag down our good performances over the rest of the ground. fingers crossed!
