Any song with a guest appearance by Vincent Price is immediately cool.

Takes me back to 1988 and year 9. Had to write a poem for English.

50ish teacher raved about a poem one kid penned. He was one of those kids who always got Ds and below.

She loved him poem so much she got him to read it out in front of class.

We're sitting there thinking 'this sounds really familiar'. Then my mate twigged. He nudged me.

'It's Thriller,' he says. 'The Vincent Price bit from Thriller!'

Sure was.

The lazy SOB copied the lyrics from album sleeve. However, he did change the title from 'Thriller' to something I've long forgotten.

Nobody told the teacher, who obviously wasn't a Michael Jackson fan.

Got the best mark in the class. Pretty sure it was his first - and probably last - A.

Have never been a huge MJ fan but his really early stuff like Ben and ABC were pretty cool, then Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal I didn't mind... Thriller, Bad and Black or White were also good songs.

Overall a sad end to what has been a sad life of a remarkably talented person...

Off the Wall and anything before Thriller were great. After that I felt the guy last the plot a bit...sad actually.

"Working day and night" from Off the Wall is a killer funky tune.

"Dont Stop till you get Enough" is my fav if chosing.....if that dont get you on the dance floor or tapping your feet....you might as well feel your pulse!!! (no pun intended!!!)
