Opening the bowling with him was a bundle of joy, you'd have to start into the breeze and then switch ends after he got hit for a boundary and blamed an injury.

I was lucky enough to play for both Centrals while they won 3 in a row and lucky enough to play for Two Wells in there maiden grade 1 flag but I would have to say the Centrals side was alot stronger and had alot more depth. The Centrals side of old would be far superior to the ones going around at the moment. Just my opinion!!!

As none of these teams managed to dominate the others i wouldnt say any of these teams have been powerhouses. Damn good sides with class players but not powerhouses. Same as you probably wouldnt class Hawthorn a powerhouse side even tho they won the premiership last year. Premiership team, yes, powerhouse team, not yet. Central Districts you probably would class them as a powerhouse team.

i thought last year was westies weakest side they have had for awhile.. without chad, rocco, ozzy and nobesy and they finally got there flag.. goes to show a team of champions will beat a team of superstars anyday

You blokes were quality. Depth in every area.....flair and grit. Definitely complete.
We felt if we got on top of Dwayne in your third flag that was the key.....the problem was his 3/8 before came off with some sort of injury. 8/90 chasing 120 odd with class players still at the crease and Watto in the shed....far too good.
I wouldn't undersell the last Two Wells squad though.....that was very strong and you boys underachieved.
Anyone starting pre season soon ?
