C'mon Banks.

Credit Card Interest is at rediculous levels.

The time is right for a 5% drop.

It's only Money $$$ :)

credit card interest will remain high - the banks wont want to give customers anything!!!

That's right it will. Credit card rates have always been very high, because they are unsecured debts.
It is unwise economic mangement to incur credit card debt you cannot pay in full at the end of the month - almost economic suicide.
Business funding which creates or maintains jobs does not come from credit card borrowings, so the government is not interested or involved.
