Congrats to the BFC players and coaching staff for what I saw on the weekend.
To play them and really be able to notice the developement in their game was really evident. Setting up at stopages, drilled for kickins etc was a real progression and they all need to be congratulated.
Also they made every Ranger earn every possession and were competitive until the end and showed real emotion when they actually did something against team rules etc.
Unlike our opposition the prior week they came to have ago and put it all in for the jumper.
Congrats again.

what did everyone think of the scoreboard at Ravendale on Saturday? It will pay for itself in the long run anyway.
Will save paying the kids $20 a week...... at that rate (10 games a year 10gamesx $20x 300years =$60,000) it would have paid for itself in 300 years.
the scorebaord should rotate... then everyone playing hockey and netball could see the score.... you could even just sit and watch the scoreboard from the front windows of the winsor castle.

The scoreboard will be ok, especially when Waybacks advertise their drink specials on it at half time.

I read with interest a comment from the Marble Range v Bostons write-up stating 'You had to ask yourself if some of the free kicks awarded would have been paid if it where a different opposition playing against the Magpies'........ any thoughts

Maybe Dr Allard should go and watch another game besides his beloved Magpies and see there is life past Planet Wangary.
Grub..have a look at the comment on the back page of last Thursdays EE Tribune...Times might need to follow....imho comments like that should be thought but not written...altho not sure how many would have bothered to read it given the result.....Liked the T vs MP write up...probably the match of the day written from BP & GK list.

Always a problem that 3rd write-up of the week btb... hard to get a feel for the game from the qauter by qauter scores and goalkickers..... maybe someone should have gone and had a look at another game.

Pity each side can't have a correspondent to do the write ups on an alternate basis.....mayb home games. The write-ups are not really that hard, and really only need to be spiced up by a bit of comment about a few segments of the game. Personally think DA does a pretty good job, and he can't really help it that he comes from Planet Wangary. Hats off to him that he want's to do it.
speaking of times coverage...what a cracker of a mark by HS. That bonding session with tips and TRR at Oceans Thursday nite must have paid dividends. Both Spud's and Darren G's marks were right up there with the best, just a pity no coverage...was it your buy at that stage grub?...lol
Not sure if it's fair to rate them, but DG's was three deep on top of Duncan...Spud's was sheere athleticiscm....not even sure if he touched mulder going up or over.

Reckon Damon Scott would go close to ours but it has been a very even year for us. Rynne was BOG first couple of weeks then it's really been shared around. J'OB would be right up there, with Tokas, H Parker & Thomo also not far away. Brodie and M Parker have been busy the last few weeks as well!!

Is it possible for an entire side to be playing so well, that they award the B&F to "all played well" ?

Would think that minya DG and Shannon would share the spoils at Windsor Ave. Uncle may have a mortgage on BTM. Rory Hunt played 5 games (I think) for the magoos and would have scored 5 bog's...probably enuff to claim victory there..Jake Klaebe a danger to him.

any thoughts on the MM..... we all thought at the halfway point it would be a MJ v MG race but now I would suggest the peliton would be closing in.... might be a low scoring MM this year 12 -14 votes could win it????

Tassies would be MJ & Ross Campbell then DAYLIGHT to the rest...

The MM is an interesting one as Rangers will have heaps taking votes off each other, Waybacks and mallees probably the same and the other clubs haven't won enough games to warrant getting the 3 votes to win. Although MJ may get a lot of ones & twos which when added up could be enough.

Reckon Wes Bilney from Mallees might go alright with MJ, Brodie Murphy and Crouchy his dangers..
