Saw this on the News and had a squiz on the net. Very interesting. Football NSW the governing body of the game in NSW are building a $40 m complex at Riverstone in the NW suburbs of Sydney i.e in between Richmond & Parramatta. Ironically this is in the area in which the AFL are attempting to pursue a second NSW AFL side.
It'd be a League heartland, as Parra, Penrith, Wests & Canterbury are well established, but Football of the round ball variety would be the sport of choice for a fair whack of population.
If this gets up and running it'd include a Football College, up to 15 pitches, a boutique stadium etc etc.
Surely it'd almost spell the death of AFL in West Sydney too.....
