Centrals Premiership Dinner

Postby Big Phil » Sat Nov 08, 2008 1:14 am

Hey all,

Just got home from the Centrals Premiership Dinner down at AAMI Satdium and it was a great night had by all...

Food was great, Hahn Super Dry just goes down too easy (I think I had 14 !!??) and Roy Laird, Paul Thomas and Matthew Slade all spoke well in their acceptance speached. President Tom Zorich also spoke well and there was a suprise guest at the end of the night in Kevin Sheedy (I was lucky enough to get an autograph)

It wa a great night like I said, thoroughly enjoyed by all, especially he majority of the playing group who were enjoying the hospitality of the SANFL !!!

I don't know, you'd have to ask the SANFL, as Wedgie said, they are the ones who scheduled it.

It's not really that long ME, it was basically 1 month to the day today. Needless to say, it was a great night but boy do I feel sh!t this morning !!

And I lost my bloody mobile phone on top of all that !!??

Id assume other committments and events.
I know they use the same marquee that they had for the Media Awards the week before and Centrals B&F was only last week due to other events/committments/etc.
If my team won the flag I'd enjoy festivities being dragged out for as long as possible too!

Let's not forget it is only 4 weeks after the GF was run and won that the Premiership Dinner was held...

There would be a fair bit of involvement in getting the massive marquee set up on AAMI Stadium. Then they had the Media Awards while Centrals had their B&F as Wedgie said, then this week was the Premiership Dinner.

And yes, I enjoy the festivities being dragged out for as long as possible, although last night is officiallly then "end" of the celebrations.

Plus they need to allow time for getting RSVP's back to then know the numbers for catering etc...
