maybe nation will kick 1.9 again in another grandfinal like he did in under 17s haha, and i think they lost by 4 points after being hot favourites. Or maybe HV will be like a chinese hurdler and crumble under the weight of their nation/ club.

Surely hopevalley playing 1 match in the last 4 week is a disadvantge for them,. Any other thuoghts on the B grade. What are the chances of a mighty duck/ rocky victory for heccies??

Wasn't sure if you would be able to concentrate on it with all the talk that Houghton might be a chance to avoid relegation...

If efc on the 'Edwardstown is looking' thread is correct, Edwardstown are apparently now in discussions with the SFL and if given the appropriate concessions will be moving out of the SAAFL.

That would mean that only one team from Div 2 down would be able to get relegated and with Henley likely to knock back promotion from Div 7 there would be no teams relegated from Div 6.

Is that right? Maybe Brahma and Houghton will be lucky this year, would be great news for both clubs if it comes about.

I think Mitchell Park would be given the option to come up as well.

What % are you running your bets at. Let's say at most you're running them at 120%. That means WOS would be around $3.50 for the win. I'd take that.

I reckon HV $1.70 and WOS $2.10.

Now in the Reserves GF, Hope Valley would be $1.10. Yes, you guys have no chance

Just kidding, it's a GF, anything could happen.

Quichey, i prefer your market to hb's - running at 106%, thats better than stupid sportsbet & TAB

Great roundup by the way, cannot really argue with any of that, only 3 1/2 work hours to go, not that much work is getting done!!

Bad luck to the blokes from both clubs that have been ommitted from the GF, tough pill to swallow, but the team must come first & hopefully when the dust settles those affected will understand the decision.

Not sure that would happen. In '04 Uni knocked back promotion to Div 5, but we weren't offered their spot and we lost only 3 games for the season before losing the prelim by 7 points.

Nothing against Mitchell Park, but if they're consistent it shouldn't go that way.

True. It kills me to say it, but I can't see much point in us staying up if we have the same squad or less.

Now three or four handy recruits while keeping the other blokes would be a different story.

It is a bit ridiculous that Henley will choose to stay down, especially if they ended up winning tomorrow.
