Bays by 10 goal, in great form and ready for September!
Strath to upset the Willunga big men by 3 goals in muddy conditions!
Yank by 7 goal, to finish the note on a hight and farewell Kim Koster

Why ? :?

I just heard in passing conversation that the parents of the saints player are speaking with lawyers to find out the legalities of tapping their some directly with out parental permission due to him being only 16 and also as to what the legal situation with a form of distributing the video to others in the form they did by taking it to a registered football league official tribunal hearing. I am not 100% sure of the full situation as I was just a bi standee in a passing conversation.

I am the saints snr colts coach and I will say is I have spoken to the players parent and informed them of the suspension handed down by the GSFL to witch they had no argument with. Both the club and I won't accept what happened on the field and the player was given the suspension and we have never and will never question the 14 week ban as the incident is something we don't want to see in any grade at the Saints again no matter what the situation is. I know the parents have been informed that the McLaren's do have video footage of the incident and it was used in the tribunal, they are also aware that the victim has contacted police and are seeking further action. The parents of the reported striker are looking into the legalities of all the above mentioned scenarios but to what extent I am not sure.

I truly do commend you on this Teamwork. It is good to see that it is not endorsed by your club and or parents and i hope everyone can move on now, the Saints player comes back next year more educated and the McLaren player is ok with his teeth,

If the Saints can pull it off you would want to hope it keeps raining pretty hard.. I think there's about 20cms of water you'd be jumping into.

1 round to go and it looks as though the A's and Reserves are set in concrete but there is still a bit to unfold in the colts.

A Grade - Bays can leap frog Compass which is possible but wont affect the make up of the first week, Technically Creeks can go to second but with a big percentage gap this is unlikely and again wont affect the first week.

B Grade - Victor can make the finals mathmatically but would need a football miracle. Yank, who haven't won a game would need to flog McLarens and Victor would need to give Compass a hiding. Not likley B's is finalised.

Senior Colts - Bays and Saints still a chance to make the 5. whoever wins out of these 2 will need to win by a good margin and then rely on top placed strathalbyn to beat Willunga. Still a slim chance and with the way the senior colts comp has gone this year this scenario is not out of the question. There is also a 3 way tie (Strath, Compass, Creeks) for the minor premiership and the week off so get ready for a big weekend of senior colts

Junior Colts - Again very interesting. The saints can get in to the five provided they beat Bays and one of the teams in yank or Compass lose. This could be on the cards with these 2 teams playing the top 2 in Victor and McLarens who themselves are in the race for the minor premiership.

Compass actually played really well last week, gave us a shake for a while till we put it all together.... so I think the Victor V Compass game will be a close one.

O:)

I Wish you luck on Saturday LF, hope your team manage to get in the Top 5 O:)

My tips.

Victor Harbor to beat Mt Compass
Langhorne to beat Myponga
Saints to beat Encounter bay (Because I like seeing kids succeed) O:)
Willunga to beat Strath (As someone said the other day Willunga=China)
McLaren to beat Yankalilla (Would be good to finish the year off with a win)

I'm really bad at the whole points thing... so I'll give that a miss !!

O:)

More to the Point LIMB is What is the world coming to when you can't play sport without being Physically Assaulted? The victim has every right to report the matter to the Police.
Why is it any different getting Assaulted on a sports field to getting Assaulted in a Pub or walking down the Street? I Agree its not good to see the police involved BUT they are Bcos the Law was broken and that is what they are there for.
PS.
I hear that you fancy your chances in taking out the 'B' grade Mail Medal ???

Does anyone know what insurance the GSFL or your club has and what it covers? I had possiply one of the biggest injurys seen in the GSFL and have had to foot all my own medical bills, not that I am looking at trying to get money or compensation the question has just been raised a few times and I have never been given a clear answer.
Does anyone have income protection insurance?
