Did he have a stint at Waikerie too DW, or am I thinking of someone completely different?

I reckon he was BOG in the drawn GF between Waikerie and Renmark.
His Renmark namesake Tim got BOG in the replay.

You could be right CN - well before my time though.
I only mentioned his coaching credentials there - not sure of his playing.

Stephen Brooks apparently considering a return to Willaston next season now that Wilson has left. He also kicked 19 goals last week in an Alice Springs league... Still be a handy pick up, i here that he went up there for work.

My last post. After some phone calls today I have decided to call it a day on this forum. It appears that I have been accused of somthing that I firmly believe that I never did and as such feel that my integrity as a person and as a passionate football supporter of the BLGFA has been brought into disrepute. I have enjoyed chatting but am not willing to put myself in a situation as what has allegedly occured, I certainly hope that the truth comes out about what I have allegedly done. I have been open and honest in this forum even to the point of saying who I am, so where this has come from I am unsure. If I have said something that is out of line I certainly can't remember it, and as a matter of fact I have printed off everything I have written on this forum and can't not find the alleged comments. As a person I speak what I think and feel, yes I may be slightly biased towards Tanunda at times but am willing to see others point of view and agree with what is written at times, some may not agree and get upset. If you have been upset and hurt by what I have said I am sorry for that. I wish you all well in your finals campaign. To the Angaston Football Community I wish you well in the future years and again apologise if what I have said has been hurtful to your club in any way. Something like this has also confimed it is time to get out of club football administration of which I will be doing at seasons end, to those that I have had good dealings with in the past I hope this does not end some enjoyable assocaitions, cheers and catch you soon. Bye Sven

Stay on I say!

Gimp - We have deleted the last part of your post. Confirm the rumour prior to posting it please, some things cause more damage than you may intend.

Damien Herzick has been reappointed to coach South for next year...

I also heard a whisper that Sedan/Cambrai have approached the league to try and join for season 2009, and that this has been welcomed by the league!!! Stay tuned...

South cant have too many coaching options up their sleeve as every year this guys job is under scrutiny and the fact he allowed footballers play A grade and not train regularly is a true reflection of how the side how gone in previous years and to allow coombs back into the club again. not good leadership from the guy who is supposed to show the most

You better take off texas Rattlesnakes rumour off the forum aswell.

I knew they were looking elsewhere.
At one point they were talking about Adelaide Plains too.
If it occurs, the Riverland Independent teams could be doing some BIGGG travel next season as Morgan and BSR will have nowhere else to go you'd think.

its not that far, Swan Reach is only about 70 odd kms from Wunkar, and prob not more than 50 kms from East Murray.

Well Blockie what a shame if you have recieved phones calls due to this forum. It just shows the the total crap that has been put out by the totally hard done by and innocent Ango love fest on this site, I just love the way that their only defence has been all out attack and it sounds as though they are still whinging, I thought that this topic had been canned a week ago (it would appear not). You can keep your consience clear Blockie about the Ango thing, they have just tried to bully you off this site. You may have noticed some silence Blockie, I have it on good advice that some certain media commentators may have also been spoken to about their bias and had their wings clipped. Good luck for the finals and I hope Kennedy kicks his 100, I have got other things on this weekend so no footy for me. Watch the coaching space in the hills I have heard that SJ maybe given the marching orders very soon, lets face it they are still 3rd to bottom.

As for the Sedan Cambrai thing, I can't see it happening but many blogs ago I did suggest a combined side from that comp could perhaps take out the bye in the BLG.

Winners

Not going to elaborate JD, they where just some mutterings coming out of the league, I thought this issue was dead and buried, I was just responding to Blockies report that he has been receiving phone calls about his blogs on this site. Obviously they where bad enough for him to quit, which if it is true is very bad form. Lets just move on.
