Bays seem to have turned the corner winning comfortably on the weekend without Heuskes, Grant Brown, Weedinhoffer, Butler, Scott Baggs and Craig Littley after the 5 minute mark of the first I hear. Finished the game off with 20 players of which apparently 18 were fit and still accounted for Compass - would Burdett really have made a 7 goal difference?
Thats a big call after your first win against a top 5 side. I thought you may have played it down a little TC. Wouldnt want to get ahead of yourselves, remember Rd18 last year
WOW I think you have read a little too much into this post - firstly by turning the corner I meant that they have strung some good wins together, secondly they have managed to beat a top five side without a string of first choice players. In my books thats doing alright and lets not forget confidence is a wonderful thing; I'm more than sure there are memories of round 18 last year big fella.

Are encounter bay paying him huge money or have they taken him while he is young and hasnt been approached by other clubs yet?

No one predicted that with all the outs over the past 2 years. No coach would have had to cope with as many disapointments as him. Will Bays resign him for next year? If Saints have resigned their coach for 2 then Bassani should get a 10 year term! Their list would be better than Bays.
It might not be a question of will they resign him. they might need to raise there pay when they offer to resign him for him to stay. There will be clubs chasing after him when he is out of contract.

haha they will be playing at the bay next week. Na credit where credit is due, with a massive walk out bassani had to deal with in 07, he has rebuilt the club to finals footy standard. Just dont put him 20 metres out straight in front he will shank it every time, hes better snapping at goal from outside 50. Dont think you can blame bass for attracting attention to the club for the wrong reasons, not sure of any incidents that have really occured.

Very true Cuzzy, one of the very few players you'd back from the boundary or outside 50 but the closer he gets to goal the more random the shots become - thank god the Bays retired him!
Kappars you really are on the outside looking in at everything football aren't you. It will be funny to read your expert take on the Bays future coaching come 09 - you really are a wanker which reflects in your clubs results.
