Good side Bluesy... I would have a few different ones but we all have differing opinions.
From a Tasman point of view, Craig Reincke b4 Cima...

J.Holman, S.Pedler & M.Curtis is the match up there Scoob & BTB .....

Could not agree more with Eags ..... why don't they play the interleague game under lights? Is it too late to change ??

I wouldn't mind at all having S.Pedler stand me!!! ....too old, too slow, plays too loose....would have a day out especially if the supply from up field was half decent!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Does the inter league game result count towards the Mortlock Shield in any way? If not, it should.
In the past Lincoln footballers haven't been interested in Mortlock, so there was no chance of them being keen to play in a meaningless trial. This year might be different as the majority of the best players in Lincoln are younger blokes. The opportunity to put the GFFL back in their box will also help. Was the last time PLFL played GFFL at Cummins in about 1991 when Jackamarra kicked 13 and handed 9 off to Primey?
A day game at Ravendale isn't the way to entice the general public.

Byron Pickett has been granted permission to play this week and has been named to play for Bostons with his brother.

I think the GFFL will be in for a big shock as Pickett stated to the PL coach tonight that he is available next week also. We will put GF in their box this year \:D/ .

CMH what was the result from the discipline meeting regarding grizz and rodda? The gold man said one of them could be shown the door.

Steve Whillas has notified us of the PL sqaud which looks good on paper. Youth will get its chance as the old boys didnt get selected.

I love my Thursday nights. It all happens down here

The reason why Port Lincoln are so uncompetative is they play kids and the older guys see it as a break. sure they may show some promise but they cant compete against tough experienced men like Maggot, SP, Tractor, Coady, Gus , Zac, richo, spider, JAMESY. we are talking different levels here. You people are dreaming if you think you will get close to us.

There is an old saying, if you want to be the part, then look the part. Last year we looked like a dogs breakfast and played accordingly.
What about a team for PL...
Heres mine:

FF: Dunn, Mooney, Hunt
HF:Semmler,Honner,M Miller
C: Vonow,Marsh, D Wanganeen
HB:McKinley,Hyphen, Smith
FB: Hippy,Cimma,Parker
Ist Ruck: Watherston, Goodwin, MJ

Int from:Kelsh, Sarge, Tabe, Harvey, Betts, Wagner,Abel, K Miller,

Would go OK

ok he's my GF team
FF, G Hetzel, Prime, M Parker
HF, C Fitzgerald, S Pedler, S Read
C, R Skinner, B Wake, S Myers
HB, I Halman, J Holman, M Curtis
FB, D Wedd, M Habner, M Mellor
1st Ruck Coad, C Curtis, P Jefferson
Inter, J Minard, James, S Britza, A Hetzel

for you lincoln boys who don't know some of the names, keep your eye on ricky skinner and seth myers on the wings. both quick young players. i would give halman first look at semmlar. would be a entertaining duel as halman loves to run off.
as for "putting GF back in our box", i didn't know we had a box to get back into!!

CU you must be talking about another signing that i'm not aware of. Keep your eyes open. As for the whole Pickett deal, I don't think its overly fair that he should be able to play assoc is it? He hasn't down anything for it(assoc) in recent years and will only be taking someones spot who most likely deserves it! :( djd, as for that GF side, would Fraser, Noble or Telfer deserve a spot this year? btb's side wasn't as good as i think it could be (maybe include North and S Kidney) not far off though. But if thats roughly how it is going to look, it'll be an absolute cracker!!! :D

leo. under 19 always look good playing against under 19.
playing against men is a different thing.
the GF association side would have them covered.

=D> oh ok...um....so how did a 16 yo old win a mail medal against all those big men in your league and....ummm... is now couple years older and playing really good solid consistent footy in the 19's over here?? you are so stuck in and rapped up in your little fairyland you have absolutely no idea about much, you make that fairly clear!
oh by the way, pretty much all of the 19's players are 3 times your size stick man and would love to match up on you....would tear you apart!

big call steigs. i'd like to see them against the tumby side from last year.

i'd like you to see them play too then you could see first hand the outstanding standard because you were nowhere near good enough to even go close to ever going over there for a game!!! the 19's would beat them, totally agree with steiger and we would both know as we know what the standards like....you wouldn't have a f*#king clue! stay in your little fantasy land at ungarra!

grain grower you seem like your another great flinders lad that loves the old experienced over the hill footballers, but good to have the lincoln against flinders rivalry alive and well on this forum if nowhere else. :supz:

steakn if you think hs or noble would make that team you have obviously been up in fairy land at ungarra too long aswell! i reckon North on reputation should make it but ah pretty hard to perform in such a weak side but don't agree with kidney.

and i agree with you guys that lincoln rep footy has been weak, none of the lads see it as a honour or anything special to get picked and represent lincoln, most of us young guys couldn't care about playing as i have said there is no honour or sense of pride in representing lincoln, we look more forward to the weekends partys and catching up with all the people out and about on the town!
