Certainly a smooth player, very skillful, i was personally surprised he didn't dominate the GSFL more when he played there a few years back. Got any thoughts on that wow?

He was in our top 3 players that year, kicked 50 goals from the middle. He was only 21 and the extra kilos hes carrying these days has helped him

Copping is not in the same league as Jamie Brown (Victor), Mitch Portlock (Willunga) or Randall Follett (Langhorne Creek).

 He won a mail medal in the western border league in 06 and hes been runner up 2 or 3 times in the KNTFL. State country, association player blah blah list goes on. He also played league at 18

I would agree, Jamie Brown was good 10 years ago but not the same player now, Copping is a class act though, up there with the best of the last 5 years.

Sorry Wow, I just haven't seen Copping at his best. In the GSFL he struggled against the good company.

Agree to disagree TC. He dominated, played Lovelock Sheild with him that year (got smashed) and only Sarge, Baxter and Copping mixed it with an awesome Southern F.L team

Well Ricciuto is hardly current is he, hasn't played country footy for 15 years, do we even know if he'll play this year? I wouldn't put him in this thread because he didn't play country footy last year. But if he does happen to play he would be probably be classed as "the best", but i think its more appropriate to discuss players who've played solid country footy for at least the last couple of years. Of the current players Modra would have the best all round playing record, but at age 38 is he the best going around? Possibly...but only plays 6 or 7 games a year, so i'd struggle to put him as "the best" too.

Milo seems to kick 100+ every year for Reynella so must go alright, but hard to tell in the sfl as some wins against bottom clubs are 40 goals+ so you would think on those days good forwards would be kicking 15 to 20+
