Can someone at the Tigers confirm whether Gary Putland has been on the track. Heard on the vine that the SACA has let him play footy this season. This kid is a freak and just whats the Tiges need. Also is very commited to what ever he plays and a good club man.

Don't have scores or anything but from what i have heard, Mt Barker were up by about 15 goals after 3 of the 6 quarters, unsure on the final margin as this player left the game. He isn't too happy at bays, not a player that will change clubs but he isn't looking forward to the year ahead. Bays only had 15 at training thursday night before the match.

The Townies beat Victor quite comfortably but they believe Victor 'weren't too bad', Saunders didn't play.

Heard that Mt Compass gave Fitzroy a touch up on the weeknd, although i doubt that would surprise most... No injuries to report, it appears the boys came through unscathed.

bays lost to mt barker by 2 goals in a 5 quarter game. Bays had 36 players to choose from on the day and played a mix of b grade and a grade players all day. Not sure where you are getting your info from damien, as there were atleast 30 players at thursdays session.

I spoke to a Bays player Saturday night also and he said to me they would struggle. I asked him why he just said they would, we didnt know who each other were so he had no reason to lie but maybe the bays are under a media gag or something?

For their sake and urs cuzzy (if you are indeed playing at the Bays) they are competitive.

Thats straight form a senior players mouth. 10 at training last tuesday and 15 on thursday, it was hot last week but those numbers (if true) still aren't good. It was backed up by 2 very patriotic bay followers he was with.

Round 1 you have a home game V Yank. With what has been said about Yank if you dont win and by a half decent margin I would say you wont be playing finals again this season.
Rounds 2 and 3 will be the games to meassure what your really going to be like.

Did he play twos...? Only kidding.

Did FM play all season last year? Will he HAVE to play this year with the amount of clearances you guys have had?

I think due to a change in job FM can't get on here as much as he would like, so we may not see him post on here as much as usual. I think the coach will play as many games as possible for the Bays this year. Last year he played when he could but found due to injuries couldn't play as many as he would've liked. Also the difficulties with being a player coach will always make it hard to be out there on the field.
How was his form there Cuzzy??? my guess would be 2 goals 7???
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!
