Nothing mentioned about the centenary funding, nor any mention of Twenty20 at Centenary.

Get the quote right there leonidis ... I said best deck at Centenary. Anyone would think u might work for a newspaper the way quotes are taken out of context

Oh and to play less games at wangary! lol \:D/

A programming sub-committee was formed last night. One delegate from each club to work on the 08/09 program and have it tabled at an early meeting.

I mean, what can all of that money achieve? A COUNTRY premiership....
Seems fairly pointless to me...

about that paid players comment and premierships, typical B grader comment!

Interesting post there RR is that the type of comment you hear alot at your club since all we hear about is the KILLER BEESSSSS   it kind of reminds you of that car ad 200 KILLER WASPS

Nothing we hear from RR tends to make much sense... 8)

why increase challenge cup and decrease 50 over games? and why would you ever have 20/20 games for points? the shield at the end of the regular season is what we aim for, if we happen to get another one be it the 20/20 or the challenge cup then it is a bonus. the association shouldn't downgrade the regular competition that has been going for decades just to accommodate extra 20/20 games.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

djd just reckon we need to start looking at it. we need to assess it and possibly move with the times and also take into consideration the lack of quality numbers most teams have and it seems to keep dwindling just like footy, and unlike footy we can't attract players with attractive offers either. More shorter exciting matches with some under lights might respark some interest in the comp and get some new players into the comp aswell. just reckon its something to think about....
