Went to the game last night.I thought 203 was pretty competitive after seeing Hayden struggling to get a bat on Sharma early and I have never seen so many play and misses in a onedayer ever. I heard an ABC radio the last 5 1st innings scores average out to be 213 at AO. Not sure why Les the magician  leaves so much in them .

Makes for much more entertaining cricket when you give the bowlers half a chance.

i much prefer a tighter match (like last night) with both teams scoring around 200 rather than one team making 300-320 and the other team being bowled out for 180-200.

You reckon, I would rather see the ball being thrashed around the park everywhere by both sides, this willy nilly play and miss, push to cover or mid wicket for a single is for the 5 day version of the game, this is why 20/20 is taking off so much.
