FM is your man , he coaches the bay so who better to tell you . It will be interesting at the bay next year , not all roses their this year so hopefully they can turn it around and make a better go of it . Players like scott brown , jacob baggs , dave saunders and co need to have a big year and unite under bassani . They will miss princi though .

The Bays have lost Baylis, Princi and possibly Stokes for 08 and Webber has retired to ass. coach Port Maggies U/17.

The players mentioned above have already commenced training together along with a 25 others in order to prepare for a pre-season that will kick off with a gruelling camp in Jan.

Can anyone tell me why Saunders from Victor is ringing other clubs (GSFL) players? I can confirm he has rang Stokes and Hooper. Stokes will not play for another GSFL club and Hooper was never leaving and will not unless he gets a game at South. I mean I know we had a few players from the GSFL call us but we didnt contact them.

I'm not the coach, I'm the new president - told you that already lads!

Which Saunders is calling what players? If its Lee he has been known to call fellow players from his days at South Adelaide. Old man Saucey is more than likely punching the big red panic button due to players leaving and locals not playing.
New President hey congrats on getting the position. So is your first move to get rid of Bas?

Old man sauce it is.

Thankyou, no that's not on the agenda at this point but come mid-season.... if the teams not performing I might make a contraversial decision....

Hey FM are you sure someone from the bays dont contact other GSFL players?
I know a 19 year old that played jnr and snr colts for the saints that is playing out at south and looking at a deal with bays that will see him playing there when not selected at south.
Bays must have some loose coin by the sounds of the figure on offer to him.
We could see the bays do some late recruiting if this is case and they have money in the bank.

Correct i was told by someone in the GSFL on the weekend, I used to watch him play a bit. If the figure i am being told is correct I would be guessing the saints will be saying "he is all yours boys".

I know John Jarrad and it would be fair to say you would be holding your breath for him to rock up every week. The rumour i heard was that he left the bay for a year to play at christies with mates. His agreement was to play for christies for a year and then play back at the bay the year later with him mates coming to the bay with him. A certain mate (chad) who was a very handy player at christies was meant to be comin to the bay with johny in 08. As far as i know they have both gone off the rails a bit!

If blokes up to the age of 23 got an open invite to South to train that would exclude John Jared because he is 25. I know that John and Chad Badenoch have spoken to a few clubs down south. The biggest problem is that they cost money and points. They may have some handy attributes but playing SFL B Grdae does not warrant a club using 3 points to get them.

Confirmed signings for the Saints. Jarrod Littlefield (i think formerly of Port Noarlunga) and Todd Russell (from Penola). We are running a competition for the best nickname for Todd. (you may notice that his name resembles that of a trapped Baeconsfield moner). Nominations close this Friday.

If friend of a friend was the case he would be at either Victor through Campbell Simmons or Mclaren through Deane Mckinlay those three are pretty much joint at the hips mate.

John Jarred you cant be serious about south! When the bays were a force 2 seasons ago he was the B grade ruckman (were he belongs), has anyone seen him and Blummy playing BBall? All I am hearing is they get ejected from the stadiums every second week, I might have to go watch a game, it could be entertaining!

LF you boys down the saints sound like your really doing the hard yards and working very hard on picking your club up. Who is behind all this off season work? Its good to see that the clubs down the bottom of the GSFL know that they have some work to do to become competitive and are willing to put in the effort to become competitive.
