Great player, great leader, great club man, great future coach. But you can't expect young blokes to respect the authority of a bloke on training and game day that they then get on the gas with every Saturday night. A young side like Lofty need a coach like KB or Andrew Johns (no, not Joey the drug fiend Johns) who will bring discipline, structure and direction. I think you will find that the reasons why Trigger should NOT be head lofty coach are the same reasons why Jeremy Aufderheide was not given the Lobethal job.
Fair point, but how would that be different to Grainger? The blokes got on the 'gas' with him most sat nights.
That's why it would be great to have Floreani and Trigga in some sort of joint arrangement. Plus I think that everyone respects Trigga too much to not give him the authority he deserves.
Agree though, KB would be brilliant and it would be great to see him in a premiership photo after starting the momentum in 2005. And Johnsie too whould be excellent. He has taken a few training sessions at Heathfield and is very highly regarded, and I guess available. Told some great footy analogies too!
