I was only able to get on Willo at the $8 mark. Modest bet of $40 on the nose.

Small movement with Mott out at MV. Brown picks up Et Tu Brute in a tiny field. Comes in from $18 to $9. Still a moderate scoring chance to pick up in the last.

Had a small bet on Shinn EW $18/$2.60 given his appetite for rides and small number of rides for the evening leaves him with room for improvement should an opportunity arise.

Clark out at Canterbury means there's some scoring chances at the start and end of the card to pick up.

That said, hard to tell where they'll fall. Likely Bayliss, Costin, Jones. Any of the Watehouse/Bott crew.

Regardless I had a small bet on T Berry EW at $23 and $3.70. Now $9.

Good work On Song. I've been watching the thread with interest. My lad's name is Blake, so I have been watching Blake Shinn, Blaike McDougall, Blake Spriggs (best of luck in his recovery!). Blake Shinn may be underrated - so I'll be having a few sheckles on him in the next few meets.

Shinn is targeting 200 wins for the season so he’s going pretty hard. AG has a keen interest in him for the jockey premiership too. He’s quality.

Agree on Spriggs. Had a good thing going with Mitch Beer recently too so unfortunate for him with his recent setback.

Just got to keep taking overs in this game and eventually it pays off. Ideally anyway haha.

Pity as I noted Dempsey picked up some quality rides, Thornton gets a good one and so does Jag.

Managed to get small bets on Thornton and Jag. Dempsey was AOJ so will shorten that price dramatically with the rides he got.
