Surely the pitch flattens out and becomes better for batting

I’m out for the day sadly haha

Predictions

Jadjeja and Washington to put on 35 runs. The last three wickets to fall quick. India with a lead of 190

Konstas to sadly get out ramping for under ten
Head to hit a rapid 30-40
Bumrah to bowl and take a couple but Siraj to do the main damage
Australia to fall 13 runs short in sesssion 3.

"All hell would have broken loose. There would have been all kinds of innuendos, all sorts of comments about 'Is this a good pitch?'" he said.

"Even former players who played on this pitch before were so surprised. We had Glenn McGrath saying he'd never seen that much grass on the pitch.

"The point is, when you go overseas you have to be prepared to play on the surface."

He singled out former players from England and Australia for bemoaning tough pitches in the subcontinent but not reserving the same energy when teams were skittled by pace on their own shores.

"Over the years have you ever heard a former Indian cricketer complain about conditions? They accept that's what playing overseas is all about," Gavaskar said.

"We are not moaners, we are not whingers. When we go [abroad] and play cricket we will tough it out, and if we are beaten, we are beaten. We understand that overseas it's very difficult to beat home teams. You'll never find us complaining.

"But 15 wickets in a day in India, man, there would be hell."

This is some of Gavaskars thoughts on the pitch.
He is a wanker of the highest order
Had this Test been played in India with only a draw needed a pitch that ensures 600 for each team wouldve been prepared. Thats the problem with the Indians, i dont care if its a 2-3 day test where spinners open the bowling, its the inconsistency and doctoring that irks me.
How good would Test cricket be in India if they prepared wickets with some grass and life in them, they can clearly do it, some of the pitches in the IPL are great and not just rolled dirt. They could probaly have the best pitches in the world for a contest between bat and ball. If they could just get one more quality quick to back Bumrah it might change their pitch preparation thinking

Bingo. Our pitches suit our bowlers (and those from England, RSA and NZ) but the doctoring you see in the subcontinent - dependent on the match situation - is on another level.

Not a bad target. Not too high or low to be awkward, per se, but still somewhat tricky on this pitch. A couple of early wickets and the Indians are right in it.

157 India All out
161 Lead
6/45 Boland has Scott to be every bit as good this series as Jasparit Bumrah

Aussies , despite the deck should win this
Be interesting to see how Sammy plays his innings
Hopefully he succeeds

This is a defining test- perhaps one of the most important AU have played
Need to nail em and win the series 3-1
Us Baby Boomers may never see AU win another series against India

Bumrah won’t bowl apparently, disappointing to hear but a huge bonus for Australia.

didn't bowl much in the 1st dig and we imploded to the other so called second rate bowlers

May well be more of a hinderance with him out the attack and the lessers stand right up

Im hopeful Aust to chase this down but definately nowhere near confident with out current batting form

Ozzies just need to play attacking shots on this deck and a win will be very likely

Some of the worst bowling you will see this. Turns out they might just need Bumrah.
