Suppose depends where the cut is, how big / wide, if it runs down the knee or across, if it had stitches etc. and if there is risk of reopening playing.

If you've got stitches across the knee though, surely any bending of the legs would pull them apart?

Kelly to hit a double ton and save the day.

Kelly has not realised he can make more than 40  He often looks good and never goes on with it.

Agreed but hope he can get a bit of a run at it. Only 23 years old so hopefully one decent score may set him on his way, even if he misses out this innings.
More upside with the likes of him and Scott (who I admit have been a bit critical in the past but seems to look like settling in) than Lehmann, McInerney etc.
Haven't heard why Scott isn't playing? Injured or rested?
EDIT - spoke too soon!!

Scott injured his knee diving the other day, split it open. Assume just missing this game. Would have thought Sangha may have played today if not getting injured in same game.

Sangha injured on Tuesday wasnt he?

Took a little longer than normal for the imposters to leave and the real Redbacks to return

Supposed to be 52 overs left for the day, but they were very slow so doubt we get anywhere near that amount of overs.

Think they will be 2/148 at Stumps.

Bird 7/46 somethings just never change

Bird's figures v opponents in first class matches before today.

Heaps of wickets against us, but looks as though that's because he's bowled against us far more.

His record v NSW - bowling average of 18 - is phenomenal. I would think that very very few bowlers would have that sort of record against the Blue Baggers.

Record good figures v WA as well.
