Not sure.

There has been some talk in some circles that players who don’t go for the ball, leave the ground and hit the opponent in the head that has them taken from the ground and subbed out may be under some scrutiny.

Probably just newspaper talk though.

Agreed, he should have gone for the ball, left his body exposed copped a collapsed lung and spent the night in hospital.
