All the hype and bullshit talking for a sport that lasted 60 seconds.

Getting punched in the face is not what I'd call farcical.
Then you get a 12 round battle next fight.

It’s a ridiculous sport.
The rest of the sporting fraternity are protecting the head and brain from long term injury yet boxing continues to allow boxers to pound each others head in.
No different to MMA and other fight sports. You know the risks when you get into the ring. Surely people are allowed to decide on taking that risk

Obviously not!
Barracking for Carlton would be just as dangerous to your brain I would've thought.

If Paul puts his chin out he'll be very lucky if he comes out of this with his jaw intact minimum!
The best case scenario for him is drinking his dinner for 6 weeks or so.
Worst case, pine box.
Even at nearly 60 Mike is next level.

It's most likely a gimmick and setup.. don't be surprised if it ends up in a boring draw.

His coming up against a 27 year old, pretty much in his athletic prime who has all the money in the world and has used that to surround himself with one of the best assembled coaching teams on the planet. Jake Paul is far from a mug, rather a young brash lad who has now dedicated his life to getting better at boxing.

Albeit these are exhibitions and like bedgey said will finish as a boring no knockout fight and both walk away with millions.

Jake Paul really needs to start fighting active opponents but the money just isnt there for that compared to what he is getting in these exhibition fights.

That's great, but Mike Tyson is the meanest mother f*cker to ever get in a ring and Paul will be made into his b*tch.

and risk losing the fight and millions while fighting youtubers and retirees and making millions win, lose or draw?
He is not a boxer, he is an entertainer like his brother in WWE.
Its a show, not a fight.

Yeah you are right.

Its a shame because he now can genuinely box. He knew for the 'show' to work he had to look like a boxer and he is done more than that training full time with a crazy coaching team.

 Michael Spinks was 31-0 and Tyson ended him in 90 seconds. Paul is a punk who has no idea what he's doing.

I would love it if Iron Mike laid this bloke out. But the cynic in me makes me think this fight will be a fix, or a farce, or both.

I think it's set up to be a fix, but, one decent blow from Paul and Tyson will roll the eyes back and it'll get real.

Like his brother when they decide they are all in on something they put all their resources, money and time which they have a lot of, into it.
