The website says $115 a slab and they are smaller (330ml) bottles.

Today I found myself in Goodison brewery, McLaren Vale. They had several stouts on tap and I grabbed a sample of each on a paddle.

WOW! their coffee stout is the absolute shiznit! It smells like a long black, it has a long black taste, but its unmistakably stout. Easily the best flavoured beer I've ever tried.

Mind you, at $105 a slab, I'm not about to start guzzling it.

SixTwelve Brewing at St Agnes do a brilliant one too.

Its a collaboration with The Coffee Barun cafe at the front of the complex.

Can get dangerous when "dropping in" on a Friday arvo

Anyone on here able to recommend any of the ginger beers on the market?

All this advertising of the Bundaberg Ginger Beer is having an effect on me.

Had the Bundaberg ginger beer on NYE.
It was bloody good.
I thought it’d be a bit sweet but wasn’t.
Definitely worth a try.

James Squires goes alright too

James Squire's and Brookvale Union are my go-too ginger beers.

If you're down south pop into my mates new brewery. The beers are good, and so is the brown creaming soda

Sitting in the Victoria hotel as I type this. There is a ginger beer on tap in the dining room. "Brookvale Union" or some such. At $12.70 a pint, more expensive than every other drop on tap, I have no effing idea how it tastes and I have no intention of finding out.

Brookvale Union & James Squire are both better than Bundaberg imo. James Squire is very sweet though.

Best Ive had recently is the Cameron Zing by Bowden Brewing, but at $85 for 16 I haven't purchased any yet other than a pint at the local golf club.

I like the Matsos ginger beer. not cheap, but find it the best tasting, and even better with a shot of rum and a squeeze and piece of lime.

I've recently had a bit of a craving for the Brookvale Union Vodka and Peach Iced Tea cans. Quite sweet but very refreshing. I limit myself to 6 cans at a time and once I've had those, I'll have dinner and a bottle of red. It's a bloody nice drink and you could easily do a slab in a session if you wanted.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Tried the Bundaberg on the weekend and it was sensational, best one I've had so far, tasted the same as their non alcoholic GB to me. Would be easy to get drunk on.

Bit of a shame really. With Pirate Life 2km from my front door this is just about the only one of their current beers that I rate and I rate it highly, actually think it's better out of a tap. The 3.5 South Coast Mid is a good one if you're driving, the Mosaic is good but the pale, the sours and the whatever the hell they are "crushes" are garbage. The food there is exorbitant and the beers barely palatable other than the two mentioned above, the repetitious doof doof they play all day every day makes the place uninviting. The Big Shed gets far more out of me than Pirate Life do. Better beer. Better food. Better music.
