Get off the ******* ground Marnus, infuriates me everytime, probably more than it should but just **** off, youre out.
Its like him and Smith have a contest to see who can take the longest to get off the ground.

Is the incoming batsman at the crease & ready?
No?
Then there's no need to rush off!

Our bowlers wont spray 30% of their deliveries, 300 is plenty imo

I wouldnt mind having a look at this, i reckon he would be ready before Marnus was off the ground.

Is it that obvious i dont like him :D

Not dropping most catches helps too.

We drop our fair share. That's for sure.

However, Pakistan have bowled well this morning.

As I type this, Rizwan hangs onto a ripper. It's amazing what happens when you hold your catches.

Its like him and Smith have a contest to see who can take the longest to get off the ground.

It stems back to recess @ Brisbane State High on Feb 14, 2006.

Marnus was judged caught one hand one bounce when caught by David Phillips near the basketball ring pole. As Marnus went to hand the bat to him, Phillips then admitted to using his body to complete the catch, therefore allowing Marnus to continue batting.

Marnus waits to see if there’s a repeat still.

Is it time for Carey to be replaced by Inglis?

Taking away our SA bias, think it should happen the way things are panning out

Not yet but Alex is doing himself no favours by leaving the door open with his batting

Just quietly that is a ripper catch by Rizwan, right from the top shelf.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Carry the bat by the handle and get the f*ck off.

Smith nearly shaking his own head off yesterday before reviewing an LBW.

Cummins running to Carey for a caught behind not looking back at the umpire.

All petulant behaviour.

Been a said a few times but it looks as if the Stumping gate has taken its toll.

Apart from a fleeting moment he hasn't been able to put both skills (keeping & batting) together at the same time. Started of his career keeping absolutely average despite batting ok. Then his keeping improved in that India series but his batting struggled. Then went back to batting well but keeping poorly until the infamous incident. Now we are back to keeping ok but batting real average.

Saving grace for Carey is that no one is or was (when the shield was being played) banging the door down including Inglis.

Its probably one of those times where if they were losing he would be the first one gone like he was in the ODI side. Whilst they are winning he will probably be given a chance to find his form.

All reasons why it feels like this playing group is the most unliked in my living memory for most 30-50 year olds. Despite being an extremely talented side with a fair few who will go down as 'greats'

Some arrogant batting this innings from the Aussies.

Warner, Khawaja, Head, Carey, Marsh, Starc all very lazy, loose shots.

Probably more than enough runs, but this kind of performance wouldn't cut it against an India.

Why is it always Inglis for Carey. Inglis averages 33 in FC cricket and 18 in ODI. He hasn't played a red ball match since March 2023. Nothing about his keeping indicates being a better gloveman than Carey. Any one of 4 or 5 Aussie keepers can do the job to the 3 quicks but Carey's experience with keeping to Lyon, which has got better over time, is a big factor. Jimmy Pierson must get annoyed that Inglis is the man that everyone wants as Carey's replacement.
