Twilight

These boys rush through it, no honours for any shot....

First hole pull hook into trees and scrambled up to green for a wipe.
And that summed up the walk.
3 wipes.
12 points

Willunga looked good on the telly, and was quite surprised that the pro's weren't ripping it apart which in a way pleases me that these short courses can still be tough

Went for 9 last night with the lad at Thaxted, never seen the greens so fluffy and slow  50 off the stick but came home 2 over for the last 4 holes so good finish, pleasingly got the Driver working by putting my right leg back a touch, even though it was downhill and with the wind I hit my drive 280 on the 4th

Vines tonight followed by some beers

Willunga I'd say is definitely worth a hit in near future.
I was surprised that the players I saw didn't take on a couple of the driveable par 4s

Friday Twilight.

I’m back baby!

Well, sort of. Stealth came to the party tonight. Piped a few down the guts. 2 fiddy + , which for an old **** like me I was happy with.

Drained a few putts, back to back birdies. Chipping sound.

Back to Adelaide next weekend which includes a game at the old stomping ground with son and a few mates.

Looking forward to it.

Flaggy this morning

Beautiful sunrise over the hills. Get to flaggy and it starts raining and wind picks up  rain lasted 10mins

Changed the weights in driver to high launch in the carpark.
Added the baffler.
19points on front 9 (started 10) wiped 17. In bunker for 2 and took 2 to get out...

Then went alright 1st 6 holes.

Water on 7. Took a drop near bunkers and just didn't even hit the ball ffs and my little chipping game had been solid.
Wiped 7 and 8. Found bunker on 8 in 3 and took 2 and didn't get out so picked up.

Had a few putts that just turned straight left off the face that even the other guys couldn't believe.

35 points overall but didn't feel like it was that good of a day.
Baffler will be dropped for tomorrow
Sriver settings reverted back to how they were. Although did hit 3 beautiful long drives

Tanunda pines

Some pre round research took place as it's a course I've never played.

Greens just recovering from coring and nice and fluffy.

Short course with a few doglegs.

Was an enjoyable walk.

Missed a few absolute sitters with the putter, which is nothing unusual

Driver, adjusted back to how it was pre yesterday behaved itself for all bar 2 holes really
Short game was ok.

87 off the stick for 37pts and 2nd place in the comp

Also one if the lads had a hole in one on a 145mish par 3. There was a side game of matchplay and I guess that's one way to win a hole

Driving range tonight.

Dear reader, I’m trembling as I write this, tempting the golfing gods is not a good thing to do.

It’s with a large sense of trepidation, but, I think…………

The Stealth is dialled in. I repeat the Stealth is dialled in. Well, in Victorian conditions at least.

Without doubt I hit the ******* thing sideways on Sunday!

Great day down at Wirrina today, wind was up though which made it tough conditions, we ended up 3 under with the winners getting 6 under.

Driver continued its good form and I even got the putter going.

Course is in good nick, a bit of couch growing across 3-4 greens but other than that can't fault the course, was in better condition that this time last year.
