If you haven't had a Stone Hut pie then your life hasn't been fulfilled.

In my opinion it's the best pie I've had, we stop every year there on the way to Quorn.

South Gawler bakery peppered steak pie is my numero uno, and I try one in every country town I visit.

I used to drive there from Largs Bay most Sundays for a hangover cure, peppered steak pie, beef and cheese pie along with a family sized apple and rhubarb pie.

in one sitting?

Na, I’d try and save the A&R pie for later in the day with some custard, I stumbled across one in their specials day old rack one day and was instantly sold!

The Babi Guling we had in Bali last week
crackling so thin that you could poke your finger through it whilst still on the pig.
It fed all 24 of us, what a memory!

The stuffing was hot & spicy, full of flavour BUT not searingly hot.
And then there's the pork belly..............wow.

Sitting at the Wilkadene Brewery overlooking the river with the dog and mates watching houseboats come and go.
Beautiful weather, quite a few people drifting in and out.
Cherux Destroyers going down a treat especially those treated to us by Tom the owner.
More of the same Thursday and Friday too.

Stouts amaze me, they can smell and taste like so many different things.
This one had a real spice salty taste to it, was yummy but different.
Owner said they used authentic Villi's spices to make it.
Come up to the Wilkadene Brewery and Tom will give you a taste for free.

I thought I won about $190 on the Caulfield quaddie Saturday.

Checked my account and it was $560, not bad for a $35 free hit bet.
