I haven't watched him very closely but 36 wickets at 30 is a fairly decent start to his 15 game first class career. Especially given half those games would be over in WA which isnt exactly spin friendly is it??

300 run lead but would have been nice if the lower order could stick around a bit longer

Renshaw and Kurt Patterson are players who - for some reason - I'd like to see back in the test team eventually. But they definitely need big runs.

Renshaw obliged against the Vics.

Patterson had two failures against us. He probably wouldn't have too many chances left even for NSW on form for the last couple of seasons, even though he's still 30.
