Glenelg clear favorites. Even more so than 2021.

They will run into form this Saturday.

Give us nothing, we will earn the spot in the 5.

Exactly. The last thing the SANFL Finals Series needs is any more teams that have no business being there.

Campbell Combe will come back and Lachie Wilsdon is listed as a test. Nigel Lockyer resumed from injury with the Reserves and was named as second best player so he would be a likely in.
Aaron Young and Jake Patmore are listed as being out for one more week and should be back if North make the finals. Alex Spina is out for 1 to 2 more weeks.
Young Max Blacker was concussed very early on Saturday and took virtually no part in last Saturday's match and of course is an out for this week.
North also have 9 players listed as out for the season, but very few of them have played league this season.

Interesting side note to the South- Port draw on Saturday...
5 Port Adelaide players were reported and found guilty for various offences at the tribunal.

That would have to be a record Id have thought.... Interesting that all received a fine and no suspension.........

Wouldn't be a record. Consider the 1991 Grand Final:

https://sanfl.com.au/league/news/1991-s ... al-recall/

11 players reported. At least one of the sides had to have had more than 5 players reported. (I think it was the Bloods)

Reckon you are right, West had more reported. But none matched Sims' cheap shot that received a 12 match holiday.

Who knows.
North have only played well twice or maybe twice plus half a game.
They played very well Anzac Day against a horribly out of form Norwood and played well when they beat Adelaide.
Their second half against the Eagles last Sunday week was good also.
Fahy-Sparks and Hone always cause North problems and of course WIlson and Voss always play to their usual standard.
North couldn't beat Sturt in the last Minor Round game of last season when North were playing for the Minor Premiership.
Can they beat Sturt to get a finals berth?

Crystal ball time - I give Centrals a big chance of beating Port & I think North get over Sturt and Glenelg to win vs South. North then win the Elimination Final & the 1st Semi the following week meaning either Sturt or Adelaide go out in straight sets…

Adelaide is the worry - best form line, best percentage and their top ups are switched on - whether the SANFL rules as a non AFL finalist might bring them back, and of course the Ad brains trust might put a few on ice etc, otherwise not much between Bays/Blues/and North at its best, Doggies might give a nip, but a big ask. Port flat.
