Not sure how that could go. Often batsmen become sitting ducks in India getting lbw or inside edges to close fielders. That won’t happen with this English side that’s for sure.

I recall some time ago when England last won in India, it was actually the attacking style thst did the trick. I recall Kevin Pieterson playing well in that series.

Definitely going to be an interesting series.

I think our batting will be ok but we won't be able to bowl them out cheaply enough with our lack of spinners. In 2012 we had swann and Monty in there prime.

For the first time in a long time I think this is actually wrong. These have been the flattest pitches in a decade in england and we have been more then competive which I didn't think was possible. We wouldn't be favourites but we'd be much more competitive.

We were very lucky, outplayed for the majority of the sessions.

If they picked a team of the series I couldn’t see it being inundated with too many Aussies.

They had the better batters and the better bowlers, their keeper was more useful than ours too, the stumping wrecked him, won’t really matter as he’ll never have to go there again. He will come home and smash up the minnows like the rest of our downhill skiers

Lyon would make the team obviously if he didnt get hurt. You can argue Carey over Jonny for the glovework and Head and Brook are pretty even. I cant beleive cummins is averaging 37 with the ball, didnt feel that way.
