Norwood have thrown out the welcome mat to Glenelg supporters

https://glenelgfc.com.au/news/bays-at-the-parade-round-12-norwood-v-glenelg/

Kudos to Norwood for trying to boost the crowd numbers.

Will Glenelg go full alpha and pick Brady Searle for first league game since the Rd 4 game at the Bay?? ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Top team v bottom team. When was the last time that situation could be seen as the game of the round ?
Glenelg are looking strong and the team to beat but I feel Norwood have definitely turned the corner and have set themselves for this clash. Both teams have strong defences and potent midfields with Glenelg the edge up forward.Given the weather forecast and the game is at Coopers, I'm backing the Redlegs by 2 goals. Should be a great game either way.

Last Saturday, I believe we didn't play at our full potential due to the muddy conditions of Unley oval (more mud than grass). Some Norwood supporters would argue that we were hampered by umpiring decisions. I'm confident with the better oval conditions (and maybe better umpiring if you agree with the Norwood supporters who were dissatisfied with the umpiring last week), we will get over the line (and on the scoreboard). Hard part is thinking up a image to go with the final scoreboard photo (running out of ideas)

Should Norwood win, would it be the first time in history that the bottom team has knocked off the top two in consecutive weeks?

Expecting an honest effort from my boys, but the Bays will be too strong, they’re miles ahead of everyone. Flipper and Snorkel conditions may reduce the margin. Bays by 28 I think

This will be like the Rd 18 game last year a contested tackling slugfest - which is Norwood’s strength.

Who wins will be the team that wants it the most.

With all the weather around, lucky it wasn’t last night.

Bays to win a close ones by bidet 2 goals

We will have a crack and try to turn it into a real grind but Glenelg just has too many options up forward and should have no trouble getting the 7 or 8 goals needed to beat us.
Glenelg by 2-3 goals
