Stopped in at my local liquorland Wednesday night to grab a 6 pack and noticed their Applewood Gin was reduced from $70 to $20 so bought all 8 bottles that they had, the attendant thought it must be a discontinued line and checked to see if they had any out the back, but they didn’t.

Went in there the following night and there were five more on the shelf going for $20 each still, so I cleaned them out again, $650 saving, I’ll take that.

Not many people would buy more bottles of spirits than beer.

Do you prefer tonic or soda?

Yeah, I done something dumb and posted my first score on Facebook, I ended up forfeiting a few bottles but I kept the remainder to myself.

It’s my sons 18th tomorrow so I’m thinking of doing a couple of quiz’s during the afternoon on “how well do you know young LM”, I’ll ask some random questions about him and whoever wins gets a bottle, shit like his highest score in cricket, what happened next, guernsey numbers his worn over the years, I’ll make it fun with some random facts, he doesn’t know my plan, the winners will get a bottle.
