I sense another article in the coming days bemoaning the hurtful comments from the opposition supporters… ;-)
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

South are pathetic.
Wright is out of ideas and needs to go.
We can't score to save ourselves.
President nowhere to be seen, where is the leadership?

Yuck, game was over after 20 minutes. Broke even from there on, but the final scoreboard was flattering. Struggled to string together a cohesive passage of play all afternoon. The second term with the strong wind was almost as poor as the first, repeatedly handing the ball back to the opposition at half forward.

In South's defense it's a pretty good Crows side.

Yes a weak insipid performance, no question.
Half of the team by their actions yesterday dont give a toss, and there are a few big names amongst them.

However, as mentioned the crows had a very good side in- Gollant, Cook and schoenberg all played, and played very well.
South were down 3 rotations by half time- 2 concussions and an ankle;2 other players were also carrying injuries- 5 mins into the last qtr lost another with a broken collarbone.

A previous comment mentioned that the coach has to go....
the coach does'nt miss tackles, turn the ball over, put their hands on their hips like a tea pot and fail to chase, kick the ball out of bounds from a set shot from 25 m.; try to outmark from behind, and basically fail to provide a contest.
Also..
I fail to see how the attendance of the clubs president at matches will improve the clubs onfield performance....

Correct me if I'm wrong but...........doesn't the coach COACH them not to do those things?

The coach takes the credit when winning, surely the coach must also take the blame when losing.

If they're not making an effort then they should quit, or be sacked
someone else will make an effort.

Coach is in his 6th year and we have gone backwards at an alarming rate. We can't score at all. 6 years is plenty of time to establish a winning game plan this isn't happening so time for a change. President being at games won't effect on field at all however it might show she cares. Does she actually go to the games?

your first point, re the coach
-Jarrad Wright is contracted for next year. Id be very sure that South - like most other SANFL clubs atm, dont have the financial resources to pay a coach out of his contract.
Your second point,re the President.
short answer is Yes.
