A worthy contest. South a bit unlucky in the end.

Fair enough I just would've thought maybe Norwood would've been more appropriate.

Anyway as an honorary Elizabethan that was nice to see the Centrals girls get up.

those 2 decisions were interesting. then there were some others that were blindingly obvious that they didnt pay. i guess the girls are interpreted fractionally different. i reckon late in the last quarter close to one of those free kicks there was a decent shirt front on the half forward flank, but the girls kept going, the men... thats 6 weeks

Looking at the last free kick on Fb you can clearly see the South girl pulling at the Central girls jumper before she has possession with her right hand and from where the field umpire runs in from he would have clearly seen the Centrals girls jumper being pulled back.

Channel 7 vision isnt the best as it is front on to the contest where as the umpire is side on and would have been able to clearly see the jumper being pulled.

Cant comment on the 25 as you cant hear what is said.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Good contest from what I saw, that free kick was just there, seriously unlucky to get it called in the last minute of a GF though.

Obviously bias but agree the free kick was there

You could see the jumper being pulled back and the player not even close to getting the ball, literally the name of the law holding the woman ha.

Guessing the 25m was for umpire abuse which is just as big error on the players behalf as the umpires initial decision was

Norwood was going to be the 1st preference but the call would have had to have happened before the preliminary final

I went down to Prospect and it was a grand day out. We outplayed South in the second half and would have won by more if not for our inaccuracy in front of goals.

Bloody Hell, you’d think the Dry Creek salt plains are in South’s zone not Centrals based on the amount of Salt on the SANFL Fb page since yesterdays game.
