During a recent trip, we flew from Adelaide to Coolangatta, from Coolangatta to Sydney, Sydney to Adelaide. Sydney was a breeze. Adelaide was horrendous. We were there for a 7.10 flight and the line snaked around the airport for 100s of metres. Just a joke.

You’d seriously want to get there before 5am.
I’ve flown about 10-15 times in the last 3 months for work and always get the red eye.

They call you through if you’re running late but everyone does that now deliberately so they don’t have to line up for an hour.

i did contemplate going home the long way round

there was a trucky who was ringing up mid dawn radio for over 10yrs banging on about how bad the horrocks highway is... and it was certainly well over due for a upgrade.

Our stupid out dated trading hours for retail stores on public holidays.
No wonder the other States take the piss out of us.

I understand why we still have them but it’s time for change, surely!

BREAKING: New shop trading laws pass #saparli.
- Retailers will be able to open from 9am instead of 11 on Sundays.
- Trade until midnight in the 3 days before Christmas.
- Boxing day shopping in suburbs.
- Likely to come into effect from Sunday 6 Nov.
