I would have thought if it became an issue that they would just go back to the AFL bubble and remove the SANFL sides from the comp.Dutchy wrote:if it becomes an issue, then close down the AFL SANFL teams - their top ups (40+ available) can fill in for the AFL teams and leave the 8 SANFL clubs alone unaffected to have another pure season

This may have a trickle affect on the SANFL whereby they may need to top up their lists from the Amatuer League and so on it goes.

Damn I may have missed my chance of an AFL cal up now that I'm fat, old and slow. Well not far fat but you know I love beer and food and well I've got that well fed build [emoji28]Dutchy wrote:Eagles Nest wrote:Dutchy wrote:if it becomes an issue, then close down the AFL SANFL teams - their top ups (40+ available) can fill in for the AFL teams and leave the 8 SANFL clubs alone unaffected to have another pure season

Not sure how, Duldig said last night on radio both Port & Crows have 20+ top ups for their SANFL sides, so 40 non AFL listed players ready to go, add these guys to the AFL squads and each AFL team has over 60 available players to put 22 on the park - if they cant do that the whole comp is in serious trouble.

North playing the Crows at Whyalla, July 16th.
How appealing, not.
