eftpos minimum limits at shops

went to the bottlo on prospect road last nite .. grabbed $9.50 bottle and asked for it on the card.. he goes nah mate $10 limit mate.....

i laughed and walked out ....

yes i know there is a fee the banks charge

but christ its 3% ...

where i work we take deposits of up to $4000 on card

And its negotiable - our usual bank, ANZ, offered 2.7% when we first wanted card services a few years ago and we walked away, St George offered 2.2%, and after we shopped around we got a deal with CBA at 1.1% within two weeks of first talking to the ANZ. This has since been reduced to 0.81%.

NOW this year the ANZ has offered 0.77% if we swap both companies back to them.

You have to have the guts to walk away from the first offer and do the work to negotiate. We have a better deal than companies with much higher cash turnover because we did.

It's probably been said before but I hate people who wear AFL gear to SANFL games, I can't believe there are still people willing to wear Power gear out in public! :roll:
