Dirty day for this Dad today, only being numbed now by the beer...

Feel for you mate, someone catching you fresh seafood to enjoy with your beers on holidays. Battle through mate, you can do it.

Indeed, it’s a struggle. Off to Turton this morning to check out a mate’s new house & have lunch cooked for me overlooking the water.
Will have to dig deep today...

It would be heaven over there today

The difference between a hotel and a tavern is a hotel can have accommodation, a tavern cannot.

Update -

Received the employment offer last year that I was not comfortable signing.

3 weeks ago I returned my marked up version removing the onerous provisions that I was not comfortable agreeing too.

Have just received the counter offer that addresses around 10% of the concerns I have. Several of the main points I can / will not agree to have not been changed at all.

Becoming a little overwhelming and quite uncomfortable.

Are you the only one in this situation or many of you? If a few of you, can you group together to get some action? Weight of numbers can help.
Are they breaking any industry laws? Might be worth getting some legal advice too.

The bullshit you have to go through to find a rental property nowadays.

There are many that you have to apply for just to inspect, there are many using different application platforms too which means my referee's are getting bombarded with emails too.

Going to inspections is bedlam too, I haven't been to one with less than 50 people there, it's crazy.

Junior, our house guest and another mate are going through it too. They've done 8 applications. He still lives at home.
