Reckon Pant will have a real dash not long after tea, been a great performance by India this series all bar really one innings

Done it without their Captain and best batsman as well, got some real young talent in the squad, going to continue to be strong for many years to come

They will come away with far more positives than the Aussies unfortunately

let them go for it, bowl Lyon heaps & put in a long on & long off. Don't bowl short at all, we'll soon know if they're not going to go for it, then if they close up shop, attack harder.

I hope they go for it and I won’t be disappointed if they get it either.
I’m not a fan of smug, arrogant so and so’s like some of the Aussie players.

Then if they are out potentially run chase called off with Rahane coming out.

WTF are you even watching?

edit: Rahane was out 8 overs ago. ;)

Correct if im wrong .. which im sure you will

Isn't it the top 2 from the test cricket championship that play in a final at Lords in July ...
So maybe they want the Showdown Cup & AFL Premiership

It is top 2 but a drawn series sees India drop to third.

New Zealand would be top, us second, them third

Yeah this the current table

https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/icc ... -standings

There is no point weighting for home and away series so if we draw the series we split equal points with India, obviously our PCT stays higher than them.

New Zealand would go top though so India would drop out of the top two spots.

Lets not just try something out the ordinary with the attack, take it Green has an injury has only bowled 3 overs, give Marnus and Smudge a few overs got nothing to really lose

I've seen the table, that's why i asked - dont think a draw will see either Australia or India drop below NZ on PCT

Dont quote me on it but I believe a drawn series also moves us back to number 1 in the test rankings (different to test championship) as our previous home series loss to India is erased from our record.

Ps Jim Maxwell just called West Ham 1 Liverpool 0 pretty much brought a tear to my eye.
