Then the majority of SA Footy will see you on Sunday - surely one of us should sight the elusive sheet!

I'll have glasses on, as well as an eagles hat, eagles jumper, jeans and maybe a blue jumper and a couple of scafes, pretty much like I did on Sunday. I'll be at the Bradman Stand/southern end, behind the goals with a flag and will be with other people with flags. I will help put the banner up before the game. Hopefully Wedgie can take a picture of it as I didn't get a chance last time.

Hmm in the Cheer Squad hey? Looking at the general size of the Eagles Cheer Squad and given no-one has seen this "elusive" running sheet my guess would be that you ate it?

I agree. A picture of the running sheet must be taken at the PF (along with the banner if you want) and then placed on this website so that all of the army of naysayers can be cast down for their negativity and it will allow us to hail the running sheet in all its glory.

At this stage, I still have my doubts though ... it would be the greatest "Aero" topic ever though (their slogan in the 1980s was "it's the bubbles of nothing that make it really something!")

I say that if we don't sight the running sheet by the end of this finals series, this long running, but ultimately about nothing, thread should be deleted by the mods.

No! I want to se what fascinating twists lie ahead for this thread even if we never sight it by the end of the season ... for all we know I might spot it here in Round 1 2008 after a "sex"change from SANFL to WAFL and I might have no opportunity to display my cache to the masses in its proper location!!!

I'm assuming if it had a sex change the SANFL is the male in the equation. As we are the strongest...

I've been reading this thread for a while, but am yet to understand exactly why the running sheet is of interest.
What information can it divulge?
I beleive in it's existence, but really don't care that much and won't until someone tells me why i should.

Do you believe in the mystical properties of the ABC logo?
That may be a key to the mystery of the running sheet ... if it exists

By the way, I've got to share an image that I have in my mind ... it's of MightyEagles at the footy on the hill with a large Eagles flag under his arm. At his feet, there is one of those plastic red white and blue striped bags with a large packet of Twisties, a Vegemite sandwich, a plastic tumbler, a bottle of cola, a Budget with the scores meticulously recorded and the pen clipped at the top of the page (don't we all?) ... and an ABC running sheet. MightyEagles asks anyone that passes by "do you wanna see my running sheet? I promise I've got one!".

Sorry if I made you sound like an anorak, MightyEagles!

We need a piccy of the RS, Wedgie ... the pressure's on you son!

Mine's one of a codger in a long Woodville Warriors duffle coat. When somebody walks past he flings it open to reveal an ABC running sheet affixed in a strategic position* "Oi Wedgie!" he will shout, "get a snap of this!"

Sorry ME :) , this saga is dragging on a bit.
