No time in program to catch up lost rounds, just make this round a draw :D

(SACA had plans in place for this situation, so think they would be all over it).

WT would be more than happy to avoid a full tilt Kensington
I reckon Sturt would also take a draw against a full Uni bowling attack?

Yes, hence my :D and with Spencer getting a Strikers contract and flying to the Tassie Hub tomorrow.

Will they scrap the whole round and hope to get started Dec 5, or change the next two rounds to one day games? I like the first option :D

No but ithey said all sport (both contact and non contact) is off for the next 2 weeks. I haven't seen anything official yet from SACA.

Ryan Gibson got last batting contract for Strikers and Spencer Johnson last bowling contract, so both off to Hubs today with team. Will end up spending nearly three months in Hubs with both likely to play minimal games you would think. Can put a line through WT now, take your best bowler and best batter out of any team and most would be stuffed :(

Hard to imagine that we'll spring straight back from this into action. Maybe a gradual relaxing of restrictions once we're through the 6 day/14 day blocks.

Will we get cricket before Christmas? There was meant to be a two dayer Nov 21/Nov 28, another two dayer Dec 5/Dec 12 and a one dayer Dec 19. What happens to any rounds that are affected? There are a few Sundays free in the second half of the season but it starts getting pretty cluttered.

Jan 10 - free
Jan 17 - T20 finals day
Jan 24 - Round 9 Day 2
Jan 31 - One day semi finals
Feb 7 - free
Feb 14 - One day grand final
Feb 21 - free
Feb 28 - free
Mar 7 - free
Mar 14 - Round 13 Day 2
Mar 21 - Semi final Day 2
Mar 28 - Gran Final Day 2

The T20 competition might get canned altogether I guess which would free up another Sunday.

Yes, very timely :D

Would think it would be tough to play 20/20 on Dec 1, so would hope they resume on Dec 5 (cancel Round 4 and Round 1 of 20/20 and just continue season on, treat as rain affected/heated out game and don't try and fit back into program).

One dayers Dec 5th and Dec 12th to catch up the 2 x two dayers that were meant to be Nov 21/28 and Dec 5/12. Won't count as part of one day competition

I think this is what has been put to the clubs and they have to give it a yay or nay

Seems to be a sensible option. Much better than filling up multiple Sundays in the back end of the season.

Would mean 5 one day games in a row, no red ball cricket till Jan 23 (or February for Woodville who have the Bye that round!)

Just have to do whatever I suppose to try and complete the season.

Happened to be driving past Karen Rolton oval last evening and the lights were on, so I thought I'd have a look and see what was going on. There was an internal trial for the remaining non-BBL Redbacks squad plus others. The lights were fantastic and the oval looked great. I believe the Grade Cricket white ball finals may be played under lights? If so, what a great opportunity for the players.
