I don’t have a face mask so intended to buy one there.
$50 for a pack of 50!

I was the only person in there without a mask but I don’t have one and I’m not paying $50.
I’ll try elsewhere if I do need to go out again.

Yeah I was talking to the checkout guy and he said they got smashed yesterday and he got called in today for cover but it was quiet as.
People are crazy.
I shopped today as I normally do but thank god it was quiet.

My partner who is Irish Catholic says the exact same thing about her Irish town Crumlin. She said back then you never dated anyone from the town because it was a 99.9% chance that they were family haha

They breed like rabbits mate my mother is one of ten children it's so ridiculous that in Year 9-10 in high school I found out one of my classmates I had been in the same class with for a couple of years was related to me, a second cousin I've got millions of them lol

I reckon a lot of people shopped yesterday not out of panic, but because they didn't want to do shopping during the 6-day lockdown. At least I hope so, otherwise the mass buying yesterday was just really dumb.

I plan to do a small shop for essentials on every day of the lockdown (donning mask, using sanitiser, etc). It's the only outside exercise I'm gonna get!

Read that Baker's Delight have been told that they can no longer be open. Bottleshops are fine, but not bakeries who mostly sell bread/rolls.
