Just went and did the shopping and it was like a ghost town.
There were about 10 people there.
Shelves were 3/4 full.
I don’t have a face mask so intended to buy one there.
$50 for a pack of 50!
Get ****!!

I was the only person in there without a mask but I don’t have one and I’m not paying $50.
I’ll try elsewhere if I do need to go out again.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

I reckon a lot of people shopped yesterday not out of panic, but because they didn't want to do shopping during the 6-day lockdown. At least I hope so, otherwise the mass buying yesterday was just really dumb.

I plan to do a small shop for essentials on every day of the lockdown (donning mask, using sanitiser, etc). It's the only outside exercise I'm gonna get!

Think that might go against the purpose of a lockdown.

Read that Baker's Delight have been told that they can no longer be open. Bottleshops are fine, but not bakeries who mostly sell bread/rolls. :?
